I've always thought of fashion as a very democratic space where you can let your body be the canvas for communication. There’s so much power in what you choose to wear and how you present yourself. Bodice aims to channel that power to challenge boxed-up ideas of womanhood.

Women are constantly expected to look a certain way, behave a certain way, and be a certain way. The Bodice woman deconstructs these socially imposed labels. She is effortless. She has a quiet confidence that keeps her rooted in her beliefs, but she is unafraid to defy conventionality.

Power comes from being comfortable in your own skin, and that’s what I’ve strived to create, clothing that women feel comfortable in, without the external pressures of succumbing to social yardsticks. The clothes you wear shouldn’t create a new personality for you. Instead, they should allow you the space to make a statement that resonates with who you really are.
